Got chips? Actor Ashton Kutcher and PopChips are receiving a ton a backlash for their recent ad. Kutcher, who is fully covered in “brown face” in the clip, pretends to be a Bollywood type named Raj looking for love. Popchips released the following statement to apologize: “The new PopChips worldwide dating parody featuring four characters was created to provoke a few laughs and was never intended to stereotype or offend anyone.” (ABC News)

Seeing double. Comedian Aziz Ansari duped CNN anchor Anderson Cooper with a lookalike on the latter’s talk show “Anderson”. Ansari, who was on the show to promote his show “Parks and Recreation” and his stand-up comedy tour, initially sent out an actor pretending to be him at the beginning of the interview. The wait is almost over. Director Madhur Bhandarkar is set to reveal the first look of his much anticipated film “Heroine” on June 1. The film revolves around the life and declining stardom of once-successful actress Mahi Arora, played by Kareena Kapoor.
