Top 10 Most Anticipated Films from Bollywood in 2011

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (September 2011)

Starring: Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ali Zafar

Why? Even the ridiculously unnecessary usage of an English word in the title of this movie could not kill our excitement for this one. The cast and storyline are enough to hype this movie up, as Imran Khan’s character falls in love with his brother’s (Pakistani singer/actor Ali Zafar) fiancée (Katrina Kaif).

YES! I’ve been looking forward to a new top 10 list and this is absolutely perfect! After having watched a plethora of disappointing movies, such as 7 khoon maaf (I had such high expectations), I’ve been anxiously waiting for a decent film to erase the horrible memories of movies past. This list gives me hope for the new generation of bollywood. Thanks for the list. I can’t wait!

list seems fine except for the fact that reema kagti’s untitled film (rumoured to be titled zakhmi) starring aamir has been left out & that is downright laughable.
Singham could also have been included considering the BO record of Rohit Shetty & Ajay Devgan

Well Zakhmi is rumored to come out in 2012. No way I would ever leave out an Aamir Khan movie! I told my mom I wanted to marry him when I was 3 years old. Me and Aamir go way back.

As for the Ajay Devgan movie….menh Not a fan of anything regarding that movie. Although you are correct about the whole Box Office appeal of the Rohit Shetty/Ajay Devgan combo. I just personally despise all those Golmaal movies.

Andeer, I don’t believe you comprehended the title to this excellent article. If you look closely at the title and think about it for a moment, I’m sure you’ll realize that the movies in this article are slated for a 2011 release. Amir Khan’s venture you mention is rumored for 2012. It’s okay, reading can be difficult.

Otherwise, great job on the article, Sana Anwar, though I have a minor quibble. Where’s Dhoom 3?
