Flood Relief in Pakistan
Over the past few weeks, heavy monsoon rains have inundated numerous villages in northwest Pakistan, destroying precious crops, claiming the lives of over a thousand and displacing countless more. While affected people seek new shelter, they struggle to communicate with the outside world.
Floods have engorged rivers and destroyed roads. With more rains forecast, the people of northwest Pakistan will have many life-threatening obstacles to overcome.
